The Design: This batch was a fun test! Shelterwood Fibre Mill had just opened and I was eager to work with Chip and Johanna. I grabbed a few bags of wool off the shelf that would blend together to make something poofy and bit rustic, as poofy/rustic wools have my heart. Icelandic lopi is my first love and is what I started with when I learned to spin, so having a ready-to-knit local equivalent feels right at home. This wool is light and lofty, just a bit scritchy and blooms like a champ.
