Speed Date is a blend study of sorts, where one sheep who is single (and ready to mingle) interacts with different breeds and only YOU get to determine the best, most interesting matches! Will you be able to pick your favourite? Worst? Most unexpected? We’d love to know your thoughts but until then: Let the Speed Dates begin!
Meet Hans: This is our second time with this guys fleece and he's just as good as we remember. Easily a top ten fav spin of Melly's, and we aded a touch of sari silk this time to spin him with some colour just for fun-sies! Lets meet the pairings:
"Namaari" Alpaca from All in Alpacas, ON
"Oasis" Shetland from OK Shetlands, OR
"Watusi" BFL/BL/Wensleydale from L&R Farms, WA
"Sweet Pea" Merino from Steitzhof, MT USA
This set includes 5 - 20g battlings of Hans and the dates, totalling 100g of fibre. One battling is straight-up Hans wool, and the other five are 50/50 blends. Each battling is individually wrapped and labelled, with a locks included for each.
*there will be some texture in these battlings from the sari silk. Sari Silk bleeds when first washed but you can set the twist in cold water to help lessen this! Colours vary from screen to screen but we've done our best to snap pics in good lighting.
