Limited: Hand Dyed by The Hazel Witch! My friend Imogen has lent us her colour magic and created beautiful variegated skeins on the ANTICS 3ply yarn. These colours are living things, full of movement and vitality while being grounded in the natural milk chocolate colour base.
These are variegated coloured skeins! We re-wound these after dyeing to make a better winding experience as they were a bit tangley and that caused the artistic variegated colour placements to mix up. These skeins are sisters, not twins! Due to the nature of super small batch hand-dyed yarn (she dyes two at a time!), there is variation in the skeins within colour groups. **These colours are showing slightly brighter than they actually are, my iPhone was being a horrible butt head while taking the photos and not wanting to capture the dark tones. Ive included a video and candid photo in the listing to help get a better idea of the depth of colour in these skeins**
THE BASE:
ANTICS 3ply is a CVM/Romeldale yarn from the flock at West Coast Colour in Tappen, British Columbia. This yarn is light and soft with a cozy, rustic appearance and a lot of squish and warmth.
This yarn has a flexible gauge as it is woolen spun and I was able to get beautiful fabric with varying needle sizes.
Antics is named after its Sheep Keeper, Lynne Anderson, a dear friend and teacher who I am glad to know and who is always getting up to something ;)
