115g hand washed wool Lustre Longwool

The breeds that create, the Lustre Flock are Teeswater, Blue Faced Leicester, Wensleydale, Leicester Longwool, Romney and Shetland. Lustre Flock wool is unique to Fernhill Fibre Co.
Fixer Upper: This wool is slightly cotted, it did so on the sheep (if anything the scouring improved it). It is not felted, it does come apart, but it needs some TLC to do so. Once it’s open it is beautiful and stupid soft. We would usually throw this on our “problem fleece” shelf and work through it slowly, but we don’t have time with Knit City and Advent Season around the corner so instead we have priced it lower and are hoping some fibre processors out there will show it some love!
**This is washed wool that has NOT been picked or carded. The wool will contain vm/dirt/second cuts. The final quality of the batt varies depending on how thoroughly the wool is picked and the equipment/technique used to card :)
