Our newest student hire, Benny, is sweet and smart and learning to card! He's doing so good learning how to do the third pass on a Little Homie, where everyone starts in the Wool Room, as there isn’t much harm that can come to a batt in that stage of carding ;)
These are the batts he carded on his second day and they are slightly less compressed than your typical melly batt, meaning the burnishing tool wasn’t used as much and the surface of the batt lis a little less smooth. They also tend to be a bit fatter on one side 😂 Neither of these affect the spin, but they also don’t get to come to Knit City! As these were teaching/learning batts and aren’t quite the quality I like to sell at, they are a little discounted ❤️

*There will be texture in this batt from the sari silk. Sari silk bleeds when first washed and you can finish your skein in cool water to reduce this. Colours can vary slightly from screen to screen :)
