Featuring hand dyed colours by Maza House Pottery in Abbotsford, B.C.

Batch Two:

60% “Peaches” Dorset from Shepherds Haven Farm in Langley B.C.

25% Cotswold x from Rose Ranch in Prince George, B.C.

15% Alpaca from Vernon, BC

3ply / Approx 100g / 220m / 13 WPI

The Design: I constantly have a pair of DK socks on my needles (team 9” circulars!!) and wanted to curate something comfy and durable with fibres that are locally available. Dorset is cushioning and resistant to felting, Cotswold is super strong and alpaca is 6x warmer than wool - blend them together, add a little colour from my sis and we have a British Columbia grown, milled and dyed yarn that is perfect for socks! That being said, this blend would be beautiful for all kinds of projects and does not need to be limited to socks :)

Milled at Shelterwood Fibre Mill in Vernon, B.C.
